Missing Noah in pictures...part 9

Doesn't he just make your heart melt?
Noah lost the ability to smile in the last few months of his life, so each picture I have of him grinning has a special place in my heart.
I miss him more today than yesterday.

I don't know you bu ran across your blog a few months ago. You and your husband are remarkable people that had the most precious angel I have ever seen. You inspire me to be better at everything in my life and to not feel sorry for myself due to life's circumstances. I pray for your family everyday. I can't begin to give words to help because I have not had your experience. Know that I care and have cried for you, with you, and probably when you couldn't cry at all. Noah and your story has forever touched me.

Also, there is a movie you might want to watch sometime, not now I am sure. It is called Lorenzo's Oil, a real-life version of a family whose child had ALD(a form of luekodystrophy). Their child was diagnosed later, while in school, but the husband and wife(Susan Sarandon) helped find a cure/treatment. It is a truly inspiring story. It just made me think of you and Noah and your struggles.

Just know that Noah has a kitty to play with in Heaven. My cat passed yesterday after a long-fought illness. I would tell him it was okay to let go and to be sure to play with Noah when he gets to Heaven. My cat was a special animal that touched everyone and will be giving Noah butterfly kisses for you. That I know.

Deb,
Yesterday I thought of you during my quiet time - now I know why (only checked your blog today).
If there is anything us in the blog-o-sphere can do, please let us know.
I'm praying for you & Josh - keep lifting up your head (Ps 121).
Take care & God bless
Amanda

What a beautiful boy!
We are praying that Jesus holds you close and lets you know He is near.

When I, Matt, take Rudy out for a walk every night, I spend the time with God, trying to make sense of this life and praying. I want you guys to know that I'm thankful for your lives and sit with the Lord, though I'm walking, on your behalf.

You both add a big impact on my life when I first became a follower of Christ.
I treasure the bible studies I participated in on Bopp, at Duffy's, or at the Holley's. I remember the prayers at D. Road, the godly lives you lived (and still do), and the ways your lives shaped the lives of others. Josh's bible study on being a godly man and husband prepared me for Katie. I am in debt to you and am forever grateful and awed by the Lauers.

Know that the Schaefers sit with God for you.
