The long road home

Just when it started to look like we were in the home stretch of this hospital stay, we things have taken a turn.  Noah's carbon dioxide levels were escalated this morning leading to some additional (much to Noah's dismay) hours on the BiPAP machine.  We are frustrated and discouraged... and unsure what direction this might take us.  Please pray.

I am so sorry. But please ... do not take your eyes from Jesus for one second. He loves Noah and cradles him in His Hands. I know you can't "see it" with anything but eyes of faith.

"Oh Father, be near to Noah right now. Hold this little child securely in the arms of his Creator. Bring strength and healing to his body. Only You can do this ... and we come asking you to. And please cradle Noah's parents as well. Remind them that Noah is Yours and that You love him with a love unsurpassable. Noah will not be over-looked by Your love. He will not slip through the cracks. Our loving Abba ... there is no sweat on your upper lip. You know exactly what You are doing. We pray that You would do it well. Please, release this child from the struggle and send him home to be with his mommy and daddy very soon. In the meantime, may the nail scarred Hands hold tightly on to theirs. Amen.

I am praying for you and for Noah. I hate that you guys are dealing with all of this. I can't say anything better than the prayer the Woods posted above, but know that I am praying for you.
