Late Night Prayer Request

Josh and I have been blessed by the sheer number of people who are praying for us and for Noah.  I wish there was some way to track the people and the churches who we have indirectly and directly been told are praying for our family...

So as I sit here bleary-eyed with my little boy, I ask this amazingly vast prayer network to pray for a specific request:

Please pray that Noah stops throwing up.
(For you moms out there, I am not referring to that charming little dribble of milk that sneaks out from time to time.  I'm talking the whole kit and caboodle.)

It is hard for me to not break down sobbing when it happens...I have struggled for so long with Noah's feeding issues that it just devastates me emotionally.  Not to mention the mess it causes... Noah and I both have new pajamas on now and Chris & Eddie's leather couch has been wiped down yet again.

So, as one of our friends said, "Let's flood heaven with our prayers."

Hi Josh, Deb & Noah
I remember reading a story of a baby with a terminal illness who was healed. The parents put a tape player in the child's room & played the Bible on tape so the child could hear The Word of God. Do you have the Bible on tape or CD to play in Noah's room or in the house? If you don't here is a link to download to KJV version for free - http://kjvmp3.com/kjvmp3.html
Just remember that people all over the world are standing in agreement with you for Noah's complete healing.
Take care & God bless

Hi Josh, Deb, & Noah,

I'm a friend of Heather's from college and I saw your story on her blog. I just wanted you to know that my family and I are praying for your family. I can't imagine what you are having to go through, but just know that there are strangers in Arkansas with you in our thoughts and prayers!

(Sorry about the above deleted comment - I had a typo and didn't know how to edit a comment.)

Anyway, I will be praying for you! God will give you the strength to get through each moment of each day.

We love you guys and know that the Lord can move mountains and can make miracles happen for little Noah. We are praying for the BIG miracle of his complete recovery and the immediate miracle of NO throwing up. Hugs go out to the three of you!

Deb,

This is Chris Haughey. I'm writing from LA, where I live these days, and I just wanted to get in touch and let you know that I am praying for Noah, for you and Josh. The Sturgeons let us know about Noah and pointed us to your blog.

God bless you and give you peace in the midst of turmoil. I thank Him for his gift to you of a very special little boy, and I agree with you as you trust Him to be in control. Do not hesitate to let me know if our family can ever be of assistance (my dad's an Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon with good connections). Your faith is inspiring and a blessing to me.

Love,
Chris
